Why we built it

Keep your bot messages where they belong

We built BadgeBridge after running into a frustrating problem with our own Streamer.bot setup. We had a custom bot account sending messages, but without the official bot badge, Twitch treated it like a regular viewer. When shared chat was enabled, our bot messages started showing up in other streamers' channels — not just ours.

The bot badge isn't just for looks — it tells Twitch "this is a bot" so your messages only go to the channel you intended, not everywhere at once.

  • No more accidental spam — your bot stays in your channel only.
  • Works with shared chat — messages won't leak to connected channels.
  • Viewers know it's a bot — the badge makes it obvious and avoids confusion.

BadgeBridge handles all the Twitch setup for you. Just sign in, authorize your bot, and you're ready to send properly badged messages through Streamer.bot.
